Pupils love this school and so do their parents and carers. Pupils say they learn new things every day.
Our school was last inspected by Ofsted in September 2021. We were very pleased that the overall inspection judgment was that St Martin de Porres Catholic School continues to be a 'good school'.
Some of the comments from the report included:

- All staff and leaders care about the pupils and their families. Safeguarding is at the forefront of their minds.

- Staff support pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) well.
- Staff are happy in school. They feel valued by leaders. Governors take staff well-being seriously.

Our latest Catholic School Inspection was in 6th-7th March 2024 when the overall quality of Catholic education provided by the school was judged to be good.

The inspectors noted that:
- Everyone is welcomed and valued, regardless of background or individual needs and circumstances.
- Excellent pastoral care ensures pupils' needs, as are their families, are identified and supported.
- Relationships are based on mutual respect and love for Christ and each other.
- Pupils enjoy their religious education lessons and are engaged in and enthusiastic about their learning.
- The provision of collective worship is outstanding.
